My latest piece “Why Western Women Become Eastern Nuns,” and one of my favorites. The cherry on top is that my photography is published in this magazine as well. That makes it my second photography credit, the first being NationalGeographic.com. Wahoo!

What drives women to give up jobs, leave friends and family, and take monastic vows in a faraway land? My visit to a Tibetan Buddhist nunnery in India provides some answers.
