You should also check out FaveBot.com — it can track keywords / phrases in podcasts, videos, blog posts, news articles, (new) books, etc. Plus it can find local events matching your keywords. You can track your output (results) on the site or via RSS feeds.

@Ap: Vancouver’s not THAT far away. Make it to San Fran if you can, otherwise, I’m totally going to try and do a short Canada trip next year. Vancouver is top on my list (I know several people there). I’m not leaving North America without seeing you! I’ll be here for about a year.

Maybe you feel, in a way, it’s “me against the world” right now.

Keep your chin up. You’re resourceful & you’re talented, having accomplished more by age 26 that most have at twice your age.

I’m still getting used to it. Mercifully, I have a beautiful home and a fantastic friend who came to pick me up at the airport and has been showing me around the bay area. So the transition hasn’t been too hard.

I hated my PC. I’m quite happy to be rid of it, and I’m on a mission to convert the rest of my family to anything non-Windows as well. Likely Mac, but I’ll be considering other options as well.

My problem was a hard drive failure. They replaced it quickly and easily (the Apple service is one of the reasons I love this thing), but I did end up losing some data and paying quite a bit for backup (I didn’t have anything backed up).

The Mac store people actually did a rush job for me so that they could get it to me in time since I was scheduled to fly out of the country the next day. I got it just a few hours before I left. I love their service!
