Motherhood

Motherhood, so far, is exactly what I expected it to be: unpredictable.

I had an emergency c-section and the recovery has been slow, painful and often frustrating. Parenting, however, has been wonderful, especially since Jude is a content and happy baby and only complains when he actually wants something. A quiet and undemanding newborn child? Who knew they existed?

I decided to take a break from the blog and I plan to stick to that (except for small updates every now and again) until the end of my maternity leave in March.

Jude’s over a month old. And I still can’t believe I’m a parent.
