I’m on assignment this week in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, and a city I’ve visited before but never really got to know too well. The weather is a little hotter than Delhi (high twenties in the day, low twenties at night– we’re talking Celsius), the people so much nicer. There are parts of small town and small city India that I adore, the chief reason being the incredible generosity of strangers. I’ve never left a city or town in India not having made a friend.

I’m currently really enjoying the go-go-go pace of work, which makes it incredibly easy to forget posting on the blog. I’m going to try and continue being regular, but don’t want to post unless I have something of value to say, so will you forgive the lack of posts on some days, please?
