1. Isolation is just a state of mind. If you get out there, you never know when you’ll make a friend for life. Keep your options open. Keep looking.

2. People come, people go, people change. Be open to relationships, but don’t become so dependent on them that you lose yourself.

3. Find you. Be you. Don’t let anyone let you think any less of yourself for any reason.

4. Money isn’t everything. Love what you do, and do what you love.

5. Travel. Meet people. Get to know other cultures and ways of life.

6. Keep on moving. Don’t look back.

7. Take risks.

8. Be open to change. It’s inevitable.

9. Be impulsive. Don’t keep waiting for the perfect moment. Act on opportunities immediately. They may never come again.

10. Try not to be judgmental of people’s choices. Everyone has a past, present, and future that you cannot possibly understand.
